Job Description
Responsibilities will include:
• Project life cycle activities beginning with assessing opportunities, developing requirements, evaluating and implementing financial system solutions. Note that some solutions may be enterprise-wide and others may be limited, desktop solutions, depending upon the nature of the requirement.
• Bring or develop knowledge of current and future systems to become power-user resource for accounting staff. Train existing staff to develop their skills.
• Identify and exploit opportunities to maximize capabilities of existing systems.
• Work with internal customers (across organization) to identify and address opportunity areas.
Qualifications of the Candidate
Requirements:
• Bachelors degree with 5+ years technology related experience required; Masters Degree a plus.
• Solid understanding of accounting functions and ERP systems.
• Proven track record of financial application implementations.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
• Facilitate, lead and/or manage teams.
• Partner and consult collaboratively with business clients at all levels.
• Address and resolve conflict.
• Display flexibility and ability to lead change.
• Employ strategic/forward thinking.
• Demonstrate project management proficiency.
• Utilize knowledge of and experience with numerous financial/ accounting ERP applications, preferably SAP.
• Extensive experience in commercial environments, with sales, billing, inventory activity. Familiarity with SOX controls.
• Utilize written and oral communication and presentation skills in delivering plans, recommendations, and business information to management and other staff.
• Utilize experience with business productivity software (including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Visio) to support analytical and project management responsibilities.
Candidate Must Have : Bachelors/Masters degree
5+ years technology related experience

Proven track record of financial application implementations
