Job Description
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Prepare comprehensive project plans and required approval documentation, including project scope & objectives, scope definition, project timeline and milestones, contingency scopes, budgets & timing, project resource requirements.
Estimation, tracking, reporting and adherence to project budgets.
Identify, track, develop contingencies & evaluate feasibility, for all project issues. Communicate and elevate involvement to the appropriate levels in order to achieve prompt issue resolution and adhere to established project deliverables, budgets and timing.
Provide overall Project Management & Leadership for assigned technical studies and Capital projects.
Specify, bid, select and purchase equipment and services required for a given project. Manage both internal and external resources & vendors per clearly defined milestones.
Manage multiple, large-scale ($1MM+) capital projects concurrently, without compromise to key accountabilities & deliverables.
Qualifications of the Candidate
Requirements: EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
This position requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or other).
Demonstrable knowledge of consumer products packaging equipment, systems and operations, including prior large-scale ($1MM+) project management experience.
Minimum of 5 years experience in Project Engineering/Management, with a track record of successful project implementations.
Strong leadership skills, results driven, excellent communications skills (verbal, written, presentation).
Able to work in a diverse, team-oriented environment. Demonstrate the maturity and discipline required to work within a fast-paced, often changing and sometimes ambiguous environment, while maintaining results-driven focus and outcomes.
Frequent travel to field operations locations as well as to vendor sites is required. Estimated travel is 30-40%.
Candidate Must Have : BS Engineering
Experience leading/managing/supervising in engineering project of at least 1mm
