Job Description
Identify, cultivate, and solicit individual prospects for unrestricted gifts to support the Museum´s mission. Manage a portfolio of individual donors, developing and implementing strategic moves to engage them with the Museum and secure increased levels of support.
*Design and implement prospect identification, cultivation, and solicitation strategies to secure new patron-level, unrestricted, annual gifts.
*Design and implement cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies to secure increased unrestricted, annual giving from an assigned portfolio of previous donors.
*Engage Trustees, Overseers, and other major donors in the prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship process.
*Collaborate with Advancement and other Museum staff to cultivate and solicit individual gifts.
*Provide back up support for departmental phone line and email as needed to ensure the satisfaction of member and donors constituencies through high quality customer service.
*Perform other work-related duties as required by Manager
Qualifications of the Candidate
Bachelor´s degree.
*3-5 years relevant experience.
*Capable of representing the Museum well in writing and verbally.
*Detail oriented, organized, excellent listening skills.
*Ability and willingness to work some evenings and weekends.
*Prefer previous experience managing individual prospects and conducting personal solicitation.
