Job Description
As a member of the Exhibit Maintenance Department, the Exhibit Maintenance Technician is responsible for routine daily maintenance of exhibits, with an emphasis on computer-based components within the exhibit halls. Tasks include hands-on trouble shooting, strong problem solving, and making recommendations to the team. This is not a help "desk" job. Rather, the majority of the Technicianīs time is spent in the exhibit halls, proactively maintaining, trouble shooting, and resolving issues -- specifically computer-based.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Tuesday through Saturday, OR Sunday through Thursday
Qualifications of the Candidate
Associateīs degree or vocational/technical certificate required; bachelorīs degree a plus
*3 to 5 years of experience required
*Trouble shooting skills and help desk skills required
*Familiarity with operating systems, both MacIntosh and PC
*Familiarity with basic networking
*Experience working with a diversity of peripheral devices, such as microphones, cameras, and USB devices
*Strong problem solving skills
